BP’s page on their site dedicated to the Oil Spill tells us:
Subsea operational update:
- For the last 12 hours on June 12 (noon to midnight), approximately
7,470 barrels of oil were collected and 17.1 million cubic feet of
natural gas were flared. - On June 12, a total of approximately 15,040 barrels of oil were collected
and 32.9 million cubic feet of natural gas were flared. - Total oil collected since the LMRP Cap containment system was
implemented is approximately 119,300 barrels. - Operations were stable.
- Subsea operations for the long term containment option are progressing;
the suction pile was installed and the new manifold is on the sea floor. - The next update will be provided at 6:00pm CDT / 12.00am BST
