After more than 10 people being killed when Israeli naval commandos boarded six aid ships in a convoy heading towards the Gaza Strip carrying aid to the area, us normal peace loving citizens of the world are once again afforded the opportunity to project our loving thoughts and feelings to those directly impacted by these acts and to our world at large.
We may think that we are powerless to act in the face of such acts of violence but I believe that the tragic loss of life and brutal acts of aggression gives us a moment of pause, a time to go beyond our usual way of simply reacting to events in life and choosing a better way of being.
