Is it really Day 5???
G’day!!
It is so hot in my home at the moment that I think I am at risk of catching on fire!! ha ha! That could explain why I felt the need to have something super yin this evening to balance out this yangness! (although I did eat rather yang type food earlier too)
Breakfast
Yellow split pea soup with spring onions
Millet and polenta porridge (which was such a yummy combination) with roasted pumpkin seeds, oat milk and steamed greens
Lunch
Sweet rice, roasted squash & yellow split peas
Grain coffee with rice syrup and oat cream
Almond truffles
Dinner
Sweet rice
Oh, I have just realised as I am writing this that I made a pressed salad earlier but completely forgot about it…ooops!! another pressed salad less day…that means tomorrow I am eating pressed salad all day…he he, only kidding ;o)
A beautiful spicy broth made with kombu, soba noodles, mushrooms, pak choi, ginger & carrot
Hot apple juice
I didn’t do much cooking today as I thought I’d take it easy, chill and recharge. But I am already looking forward to getting in the kitchen tomorrow
