The Solar Powapack comes with a 3.6v rechargeable battery with inbuilt overcharge and overdischarge protection lasting up to 2 years depending on how the lamp is used, replacements are available from SunFire.

Batteries recharge in approx 6.5 Hours when the panel is placed in direct sunlight and the lamp is not used for longer than outlined below. The Firefly12 comes with 6 cell phone adapters including adapters for the most commonly available cell phone models.
