This post is a new beginning for me in my blogging career. Thus far I haven’t written in my authentic voice, and lacked direction with this site, using it to experiment with WordPress, blogging and all the while learning more about the art and science of being an online entrepreneur.

Being interviewed for the Brand South Africa Blog position, made me painfully aware of this lack of focus and now I’ve decided to turn my attention to writing this blog more than only building it.

I’ll be tagging most of the blog post I’ll write with eco, and the way people are becoming more conscious of  our impact on the environment and once more learning to be in balance. Geek, is about my interest in technology, especially internet entreneurship, rainbow is my contribution to our shared community, or as Buddha would say, the sanga. And finally in guru, I’ll write about spiritual subjects, bringing everything back to our essential purpose in this life.

Self Realisation

Please help me realise my dreams and goals by interacting with me. Please comment on my posts (I use do-follow, so you’ll get some link juice) tweet and share on facebook any posts  that you like and moves you to do so. Tell me how I can help you, so that I can be of service to you and get to know you better and help me to recreate heaven on earth :)

Big Love

I went through that place with my blog as well, where I spent more time working on the technical stuff, functionality, design, etc. than I did on the writing, which is really what I wanted to do.

I find that once you find the right design, your blog starts to feel more like home as opposed to a hotel you just rented, and you can really start to live in it and write in it comfortably.

And now look at how beautiful your blog is Kirsty, you’ve done so well, I’m proud of you.

And I look up to you too, and marvel at your success, and what you’ve achieved so far.

Thanks

Haroun,
You’ll find your spirit guides will lead you in the right direction. :) But instead of being painfully aware of your lack of focus, as you described above, let’s just enjoy the unique-ness of you, and be glad that you have brought such an amazing variety of topics to your blog. :) See, matter of perspective – happy day to you!
