Last week we wrote about how to use the web to find your fans. This week we focus on Twitter for bands and musicians. If you have no idea what Twitter is or how to use it you can read this first.

We then found a very cool and informative link online “Twitter – A Guide for Musicians and Bands” here’s a small excerpt:

· Update your status in 140 characters or less (what are you doing?)

· Make sure your profile is set up with a link to your website, a short bio and a picture

· Make sure to engage with your audience by replying to users (@username to reply) – don’t just post Facebook type status updates all the time.

He then goes on to give ideas on what to write and gives tips on how to find followers. Read the full article here.
