Yay, its going to happen. Even though our plans for moving to rural KZN is still a while away, the movements in satellite space just had some great news with the launch of Yahclick, a new offering from Vox.
The satellite company Yahsat, which has just won an the SATCOM award for most innovative product, has launched broadband services on the first satellite offering dedicated data services to the African market.
Vox Telecom, in conjunction with this Abu Dhabi company Yahsat, part of the government’s investment arm Mubadala, has launched satellite broadband services for the African market under the YahClick brand, with prices starting at R163/month.
During 2012, Vox Telecom will launch a satellite service unlike any South Africa has seen before. In partnership with Abu Dhabi-based Yahsat, Vox’s YahClick satellite service will offer reliable, affordable, high-speed broadband packages designed for both consumers and businesses.
