The ideas of “soul mates” and “twin flames” are both very familiar. Due to the intensity of the connections we may have with both, it may be difficult to tell the difference between a soul mate and a twin flame. Soul mates can be an individual’s best friend, lover, teacher, parent, sibling, pet, etc.
Many people use the term “soul mate” to speak of their dream man or woman.
