“Dance, when you’re broken open. Dance, if you’ve torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you’re perfectly free.” ― Rumi

The potency and possibility that the dance space offers. We can truly give everything to the dance. When I am going through a tough time, the dance offers a safe and contained space where I can feel and express whatever is going on for me and move with or through the challenges. When I am in a good space, the dance offers a perfect vehicle for celebration and the experience of joy… And it holds everything in between.

With self-regulation, we can dance the most exuberant dance in the same space where someone else is having a deeply internal experience. There is no right or wrong – just your authentic movement from moment to moment, fueled by the breath.

So please join us tomorrow night, 20 July, for a movement meditation practice. You are welcome just as you are. And if you are uncertain… just dance!
