Come and dance for rain 2 November!

The few drops that fell on Saturday night was a reminder of how sweet it feels when the rain comes down to break the heat and soak the earth.

But it was not nearly enough – we are in dire need of rain, so let’s dance for it!

Let’s get together to ask with our dance for the dams to be filled, the trees, crops and fields to be nourished and the air to be cleared with some beautiful rain.

Traditionally, in the rain dance of the Native American Zuni tribe, feathers and turquoise, or other blue items, are worn during the ceremony to symbolize wind and rain respectively. So if you feel called to it, wear something blue in honour of the element of water which brings and sustains life.

No experience required, just come as you are.
