The Johannesburg Talent Exchange is having their next meet and greet at the Kliprivier Community Market – a market started by one of the admins of the site Samantha Derham and a CES member Sara Mortimer in October last year with the purpose of fostering a market that incorporated the Talent Exchange. That idea has been a bit slower off the ground than expected, but all of the current stall holders know about the Talent Exchange and Sam and Sara feel confident that they will eventually start using it.

In the meantime, the Kliprivier Community Market has developed into a lovely little market with such a great community vibe, and we are hoping that for the next meet and greet on Sunday the 12th of April some of the Talent Exchange Members would also like to have some stalls to show the South of Joburg how it is done. Read below if you are interested in finding out more about this.

The market is set in the beautiful grassed grounds of the Two Trees Bakery at the foot of the Klipriviersberg Hills, with a large forested section that is built up with every child’s dream adventure playground! There will be pony rides, face-painting, paper marbling as well as a range of stalls for everyone to browse and the lovely Sue Green serenading with her classical guitar – and hopefully at this Market a few stalls trading in Talents as well!

One confirmed Talents stall holder is our famous Groovy with his impressive selection of vegan snacks and meals. Watch this space for more information.

The market starts at 10 am and ends about 3 pm.

For the meet and greet, please get there at 10 am as the market itself is quiet until 11 am. We will have our Johannesburg Talent Exchange Banner up where we will ask all the members to meet and be discussing the Talent exchange for any new people 🙂

If you are interested in having a stall at April’s meet and greet you can pay for it in Talents, and we will only ask for 10% of what you earnt that day, up to a maximum of T150.

For any questions please call or email Sam on 0710682793 /samantha@sustainabilitystuff.co.za
